We would like to tell you about our first wedding photography and video shoot in the Dordogne region. And even though 5 years have passed since then, this wedding is unforgettable for us!
The wedding took place in the Chateau, which is located in a picturesque region near Sarlat
This delightful 14th century château is the perfect setting for a French wedding in the Dordogne region of southern France. An extraordinary magical atmosphere reigns in this place, which is attractive not only for newlyweds, but also for wedding photographers and wedding videographers. The orange brick buildings look like gingerbread and look fabulous! Huge courtyard created for outdoor dining. A park nearby - for wedding ceremonies.
And we are grateful to the wedding planner Miriam, who opened this magical world in the Dordogne for us by inviting us to shoot this wedding.

We arrived at the chateau a day early to meet the couple in real life in advance. After all, a wedding photographer and a wedding videographer are not just people filming a wedding. Contact with the couple is very important to us and it is very important to find a common language in advance. And it was understanding from the first word! Kira and Arno are a very nice couple living in Australia. Just think what a journey they made to come to the Dordogne region to celebrate their wedding! Arno is a Frenchman from the Dordogne region. Therefore, they decided to celebrate their wedding here. In addition, his parents were very happy about the wedding in France and the arrival of their son. And Kiara came with her parents from Australia. Close friends also came. And most importantly, there was enough space for everyone in the chateau. After all, it can accommodate up to 40 guests.

English weddings that take place in the Dordogne differ from French weddings in that usually the bride and groom come from afar for such weddings. Usually their guests come with them, but there are not so many of them. And these are the closest people: family, relatives, close friends.
For us, shooting a wedding on photo and video means telling a story about an important day for these people. It is not only to take off the dress, flowers and jewelry, which is also important. But it is more important to tell about people, their emotions and joyful experiences on this day! There was a lot of joy, laughter, tears of happiness from people who mean the most to Kiara and Arno. And we were very pleased to see how great these people are having a great time.
We tried to capture the maximum of emotions and bright moments on photos and videos so that these photos and videos would not only bring back their memories of the wedding, but also make you smile forever in old age.

For a wedding ceremony, there are plenty of options inside and out, as well as a fabulous converted barn that can accommodate up to 100 guests. For wedding photography, the light is great too! The ceremony takes place in a colorful shade, which is very beautiful. As the sun moves around the building, its huge towers cast some really useful shadows for group photos, and in the evening it's lit up to look truly magical. This is everything you can want as a photographer.

The wedding dinner was held in the courtyard of the domaine. It was delightful to see the setting sun and the happy people at the meal.
For the wedding dinner, the tables were decorated in a natural champetre style, with roses and pretty wild flowers decorating the tablecloth. The warm evening allowed the guests to be outdoors until late. After dinner they brought out the cake. And then the evening continued in the hall, where a group of musicians played.

It was a very special wedding for us - we had the opportunity to meet Chiara and Arnaud! We are very happy that they chose us to document their wedding!
It is important to remember that this type of marriage is not the usual marriage. The couple live thousands of miles from everyone they love. They did their best to make their wedding day as special and memorable as possible.
This wedding was a special moment for us and we are happy to have experienced it.
In France, there are many small places where the wedding is celebrated outdoors. And in the Dordogne, it is not uncommon for the wedding ceremony to take place in the garden of Domaine Cazenac. It is therefore not surprising that the bride and groom chose this magical place to celebrate their wedding!
Bride Chiara and groom Arnaud took care of everything to make their wedding day perfect. They organized a reception with a musical group, an incredible dance floor where the newlyweds could enjoy the music and dance together. The couple also wanted to give their friends an unforgettable experience, and together they managed to create a wonderful atmosphere of love and joy.
